CHARNWOOD BEMBRIDGE WOOD BURNING STOVE
Charnwood’s best selling 5kW C-Five is given a more traditional look with some subtle visual tweaks to become the Country Living-inspired Charnwood Bembridge Defra approved wood burning stove. The Bembridge’s cast iron door features a striking ornamental leaf design which is echoed in the big aIr washed picture window’s gently curved and sculpted shape. In addition there’s a graceful ogee-shaped cutaway on the plinth fascia which makes a very attractive and distinctive feature especially when teamed with the optional high legs or log store stand. In short, what you get with the Bembridge is a tasteful blend of arts and crafts styling with contemporary design unlike any other stove that we know of. Importantly you also get Charnwood’s renowned all-British build quality and incredible attention to detail that will make owning and operating this stove a genuine pleasure for many years to come.
Underneath the Charnwood Bembridge’s stylish exterior is a thoroughly modern stove with a patented user-friendly, single control combustion air management system, integral external air capability as standard (essential for post-2008 homes) and highly efficient clean burn technology that has been awarded the highest Level 5 in the independently verified ClearSkies emissions and efficiency scheme. The Bembridge has an A+ efficiency of 82% and precise control of flame height and heat output to ensure that you can really maximise fuel economy and at the same time set the comfort level that’s just perfect for you. There’s a removable brass and wooden multi purpose door handle for a final traditional touch and extra safety feature.
Charnwood Bembridge options include a rear heat shield which can reduce the safe distances to combustible materials to less than half (just 175mm). In addition there’s a space-saving rear flue adaptor which needs considerably less space than a T-piece or swept bend would when using the rear flue outlet. If this is your preferred installation method then Charnwood also have a cast iron Cooking Plate for the top of the stove which will allow you to rustle up some great recipes at the same time as you’re warming your home. The Bembridge can also be installed on a 12mm non-combustible decorative hearth and has an optional and convenient externally riddled drop-in fire grate with separate ash pan to reduce or remove the ash bed when it’s needed. The Bembridge comes in a standard traditional black finish or in tasteful French Grey, Soft Green, Gunmetal or the highly popular Almond.
