DEAN STOVES DARTMOOR 8 ECO STOVE

The Defra approved Dartmoor 8 Eco is a classic English stove in every sense of the word, especially  when painted in one of Dean Stoves 8 tasteful colour options. The Dartmoor 8 is perfectly proportioned with a big window to give you a tremendous view of the fire and with some subtle traditional design details (like the hinges, door handle and leg silhouette) it simply oozes good taste and will also make a wonderfully practical heating solution for your home. At 8.0kW nominal heat output the Dartmoor 8 Eco will work best in a large fireplace opening in a medium to large living space. We estimate that the Dartmoor 8 will also easily provide a useful 6.0kW to 10.0kW heat range (depending on fuel load) which can be precisely managed for your fuel choice with three separate combustion air controls – one at the front and two at the side.

The Dartmoor 8's window takes up much of the space on the door with Dean Stoves' powerful pre-heated airwash system ensuring maximum clarity across the large area of glass throughout the burn cycle. The fine British cast iron slimline door provides excellent access to the fire chamber for easy loading of logs of up to 375mm long. Located beneath the fire chamber is a heat protection plate and this, along with the 105mm high legs, will allow the Dartmoor 8 Eco to be safely installed on a non-constructional 12mm thick decorative hearth. A rear heat shield is also factory fitted as standard and there's an option to add further heat shielding at the rear to reduce the safe distances to combustible materials by half when twin wall insulated connecting pipe is also used.

With an A+ rated efficiency of 80.5% the Dartmoor 8 eco will be very economical to run which is a very important requirement for a stove with this level of heat output. The Dartmoor 8 Eco is also available in a choice of wood burning only or multi fuel options. There's even an optional drop-in multi fuel kit comprising cast iron multi fuel grate, vermiculite fire cheeks and ash pan to convert the wood burning only model to multi fuel should you wish to do so at a later date.
