The WIKING Miro 2 Plinth Stove's outstanding clean burning credentials are aided by the Wiking Automatic which comes as standard. This is a tried and tested, purely mechanical, device which boosts the supply of primary combustion air when lighting and refuelling and at the end of the burn cycle to help keep the fire chamber hotter so that more particulates are burned off. Flame height and the 3.0kW to 8.0kW heat output range are precisely managed with the single user-friendly slider control just under the door. There's also a handy ash pan underneath the fire grate for easier cleaning.

The WIKING Miro 2 Plinth is Defra approved to allow you to legally burn seasoned wood logs in smoke control areas (virtually every UK urban area) and has also undergone the tough German DIBt test to ensure safe operation in air-tight low energy homes and Passiv or AECB Carbonlite houses, as well as any room where mechanical air extraction is present such as a kitchen diner. For this reason the WIKING Miro 2 Plinth Stove has direct external air supply (DEAS) capability as standard. Combined with the full height flush fitting door which is perfectly balanced and incorporates Wiking's unique effortless closing mechanism, you get a supremely safe 100% room seal every time.
