The basic construction includes metal parts, weldings, cast iron top plates and steel construction of the door (excluding glass, gaskets and hinges). Subject to Wiking's terms and conditions.
The WIKING Miro 3 Lower Door Stove is a stylish, beautifully proportioned 4.9kW Defra approved wood burner from Danish premium stove maker Wiking and has been designed to create a wonderful focal point in any living space or larger fireplace opening. Everything about the WIKING Miro 3 Lower Door just oozes class from its perfectly balanced DIBt tested cast iron door that ensures a secure room seal with the minimum of effort (all thanks to Wiking's patented closure mechanism) to the meticulously engineered and densely moulded vermiculite fire chamber lining which maximises heat retention and eliminates cold corners to increase the WIKING Miro 3 Lower Door Stove's efficiency and minimise its emissions.
Big air washed windows on three sides ensure that you'll always get a great view of the fire from the WIKING Miro 3 Lower Door with the extra height the compartment provides giving the fire chamber even more presence. The full height fire chamber door along with the compartment door and its recessed grab handle are beautifully co-ordinated to provide a virtually seamless facade that is only disrupted by the fire chamber's cool touch handle. Unlike too many stoves we know of this has been specifically designed with safety in mind to provide you with the maximum practical space between the your hand and the hot bodywork. Everything about the WIKING Miro 3 Lower Door has simply been designed to allow the flames to be the centre of attention.
The superior steel bodywork, premium cast iron fire chamber door and cast fire grate with separate ash pan tell you immediately that the WIKING Miro 3 Lower Door with its lower door is a high quality stove that has been incredibly well built with every aspect of its design and operation thoroughly considered by Wiking. The WIKING Miro 3 Lower Door Stove's outstanding clean burning credentials are aided by the Wiking Automatic which comes as standard. This is a tried and tested, purely mechanical device which boosts the WIKING Miro 3 Lower Door's supply of primary combustion air when lighting and refuelling and at the end of the burn cycle to help keep the fire chamber hotter so that more particulates are burned off. Pre-heated tertiary air (the little jets on the fire chamber back wall) supply additional combustion air to burn off even more of the remaining particulates just before they leave the fire chamber. All of this ensures maximum heat from your wood fuel with minimum emissions being produced.
Flame height and the 3.0kW to 8.0kW heat output range are precisely managed with the single user-friendly slider control just under the fire chamber door. Being DIBt tested and having direct external air supply capability means that the quality of the WIKING Miro 3 Lower Door's room seal ensures that you can safely install it in low energy homes – even those that meet PassiveHouse or AECB CarbonLite standards or have MVHR systems.
